The Unusual Space offers everything you have come to expect from a modern and flexible working space. This includes a co-working space in a café-style space, postboxes, dedicated desks, rentable offices, and events space.
Its prestigious location is also a noteworthy feature of The Unusual Space. It’s conveniently located in the center of Utrecht, close to public transport and easily located. The Unusual Space sits right on the Oudegracht, spoiling members with a breathtaking view of the canals- the perfect location to find inspiration.

Equipped with a wireless 360-degree sound system, a remote-controlled screen, and a projector, this amphitheater-style space is sure to impress your guests. With great views of the canal and a flexible space that can be resized by movable walls based on the number of guests, this space fully equips you to ensure your next event leaves a lasting impression.

Basic Package
This Package includes just the Rental of The Unusual Event Space for up to 50 people, the features include:

Access to Café Space for post-event refreshments and snacks (pay for own drinks & snacks)

Optional: live-streaming and recording of the event through JakoMeet
Optional: let’s create a custom and unique coffee creation themed around your event!

Usual Package
This package includes the Rental of The Unusual Event Space, as well as some refreshments for your guests.
It includes all of the features mentioned in the Basic Package.
Also includes coffee, tea, and juice prepared by our in-house barista at our Café Space on-site

Premium Package
This package includes the Rental of The Unusual Events Space, Refreshments, and Catering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my own external caterer for my event?
While our Usual and Premium packages include exceptional in-house barista services and curated snacks, we do allow external caterers for specialized dietary or cultural needs. However, this must be coordinated with our Event Management team in advance to ensure they meet our venue's operational and safety standards.
Is technical support available during the event?
Yes, all of our packages include access to our state of the art AV equipment, including projectors and 360 degree sound systems. If you book the fully managed Unusual Package, a Dedicated Account Executive and technical staff will be on site to actively manage the live streams and troubleshoot any issues instantly.
How far in advance do I need to book the event space?
Because our amphitheater style space is highly sought after by local startups and international corporates, we strongly recommend booking at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance. This lead time allows us to properly arrange any requested movable wall adjustments, custom coffee creations, or live-streaming setups.
